| Essie Mesmorized // Sephora by OPI Spark-tacular |
It’s obvious that glitter manicures are my favorite. They’re forgiving, flashy and easy – what’s not to love? Feeling a bit bored with my go-to glitter gradient, I decided to apply a glitter polish to the bottom of my nails. Because I wanted to create a very defined asymmetrical swoosh, I actually used a nail art brush for the very first time. I started about halfway down my nail on one side, and traced it around the cuticle in a sweeping motion, ending at the tip of the nail on the other side. It was surprisingly easy, even with my left hand! I’m quite pleased with this manicure, but what do you think?
I’m always looking for nail inspiration, so if you see anything fun (and not too challenging) please leave a link in a comment!

OOOHH I LOVE them!!! They are so nice! i never use a nail art brush, but always think they would make my designs look cleaner i may have to purchase one. I just did marble nails on the blog, not particularly easy (I suggest tricking someone into helping you) but definitely cool looking!
Hope you have a great weekend!

Super fun. I really need to investigate the Opi for Sephora glitter polishes. They always look so great on you.
That's such a good idea! I have spark-tacular and mesmorized so I'm definitely going to at least attempt this lol. I love sephora opi glitters. There's this new one, I found a pot of gold. oh. my. god.

I LOVE it! I wish I had more patience when painting my own nails... but I always seem to mess it up! Did you see this slideshow of nail art? I feel like it'd be up your alley! http://www.bellasugar.com/Amazing-Nail-Art-Photos-Christina-Rinaldi-20541652?slide=1#4

I haven't seen that - thanks for leaving a link, Sara!
I am very impatient when it comes to painting my nails. I suggest using drying drops - they make a huge difference for me!
Wow Santina, nicely done! I was super into DIY nail art for a while, but I wasn't that skilled at it so I gave up =P I have some glitter nail polish arriving in the mail soon, so maybe I'll give this style a try.
