Ombre And Glitter Manicure

| |

Sephora by OPI Read My Palm (green), Sephora by OPI Queen of Everything, Sephora by OPI Flurry Up!

After seeing a tutorial on ombre nails over on Going West, I was intrigued. I wanted to try layering color with a sponge, and it seemed like a forgiving manicure that would disguise imperfections well. Perfect!

The glitter was actually an afterthought. After a day of rocking my ombre nails, I felt like they needed…something. And, that something, friends, was glitter. I’ve learned that there’s pretty much no mani mistake that glitter and a good top coat can’t fix!

You seriously need to open a nail studio or something - I think this might be my favorite one yet!

GORGEOUS. I never thought about doing the ombre with a sponge. I've just been doing it with the brush, but it's a pain and doesn't always turn out. you KNOW I will be trying this tomorrow. Wahoo!

You should be a professional manicurist or something because these look awesome. Can you do my nails sometime?

Kudos! This is drop. dead. gorgeous. It reminds me of a mermaid! I did this for new years eve and got so many compliments. I don't have Sephora by OPI Queen of Everything though so I used Sephora by OPI Already Famous.
